Students will be introduced to some concepts of chemistry, mainly relating to two well-known opposites - acids & bases and oil & water.  They will conduct their own hands-on experiments with a range of different substances to discover just how acidic (or basic) some everyday items really are, and examine the differences between oil and water as demonstrated through ways to fix an oil spill.
